[an error occurred while processing this directive] FUN WITH FEDEX Tracking number 080850805926014 Status Delivered Signature image available No Date/Time Activity Location Details Sep 10, 2008 Sep 12, 2008 Sep 15, 2008 NOTE: I emailed Fedex a google link for my house location. Of course, they said they couldn't forward that information to the distribution center. Sep 16, 2008 Sep 18, 2008 NOTE: My house number is indicated with 2" numbers on my mailbox AND in 4" numbers carved in stone on my garage. How could any delivery person miss that??? At this point I called fedex and left them with my cell phone number and detailed directions on how to get to my house. I told them to call me if they couldn't find my house on the next delivery attempt. The phone rep said she would pass that information to the Terre Haute distribution center. Sep 19, 2008 THE REST OF THE STORY: I live on a circular street that loops around my neighborhood. About 9.30am on delivery date I happened to look outside and saw a Fedex delivery truck, and it slowed down as it passed my house. I thought, "Finally!" Then the truck continued around the circle and slowly passed my house before NOT delivering my package and leaving -- ostensibly to not deliver the next package. I called Fedex for the 2nd time that day and told the Terre Haute dispatcher to bring the driver back and deliver the package, NOT let the driver leave my street until said package was dropped off, and that I would be happy to guide the driver to my house from within a seven-state radius. MORAL OF THE STORY: I guess you can make your own judgments here. I better not say anything or Fedex attorneys will file a suit to have me pull this content off my web site. But how can a delivery company not be able to find my house? And how can the delivery driver not see the house number on either my garage or on the mailbox??? Jeez. |
